Children whose parents are eligible Australian or New Zealand citizens can live in Australia permanently on a subclass 101 or 802 visa.

In essence, the visas are the same: both allow permanent residence and the requirements are similar for the most part. The only material difference is that the subclass 101 visa is for applications from outside Australia, while the subclass 802 visa is for applications from within Australia.
